Happy Birthday, Woody!

Today is Woody's birthday! He's seven (7) years old, which (because of his size) means that he is now a "senior dog." However, he's in such great health that we're expecting him to be around for another seven years!

Happy Birthday to our "big boy." Tonight we'll have some cake (hey, any excuse) and he'll be professionally groomed either today or this weekend.

On Wednesday, the local mall had a "Claus and Paws" event, where they allowed dogs to come and see Santa. We took Woody and Simon, and it was lots of fun. I'll post a picture as soon as I get them downloaded!

Today is my handsome, sweet, and brilliant husband's birthday. He was born 31 years ago today! I'm going to make his birthday cake this morning before heading to church. (Today is technically my day off, but I didn't have time to copy the bulletin yesterday, so I have to spend some time doing that today)

Well, it's finally payback day for my wife. She turned 30 today! So, be sure to congratulate/poke fun of/harrass her about this ancient age. After all, she did the same for me! Maybe at 40, we can arrange for the hearse to pick her up at home?

He's not as famous or as old as "W"...but he still has a birthday today, July 7. Birthday wishes go out to Dr. Alade Tokuta, chair of the Math & Computer Science Department at NCCU. Yes, he is James' boss. :)

I'm off to Durham this morning to get some more stuff from the apartment and then meet James at NCCU for err...SOMETHING at 1:00 p.m. Then we head back to Danville, because tonight we have the orientation for new clergy on the district.

Tomorrow I have to finish up my sermon...producing something wonderful every week is TOUGH!

That's right! Today, July 6, is President Bush's 60th birthday.

It's funny...15 years or so ago, 60 seemed really old. However, now that both my parents have passed the 6-0 mark (and my dad will hit 70 in September!), 60 doesn't seem old anymore. In fact, it actually seems somewhat young.

Wish my mom, Mary Jane, a happy birthday today! I can't tell you exactly how old she is (b/c she'd disown me), but I will say that she's reached an exciting milestone in her life. It's hard to believe that she's __ already, because she looks and acts ten years younger. Same goes for my grandmother, so I'm hoping it's in the gene pool, and I inherited that gene!
